As an interior photographer, Muk has photographed some extraordinary and beautiful homes over the years, and is constantly being inspired by what she sees. So, the idea of designing an interior for her own home was really exciting.
Photographing interiors is more than a profession for Muk. She feels privileged to be allowed look inside some amazing homes, and discover the stories behind the design choices of the owners and retell them through her photographs. She is currently expanding her skills by training to become a TV presenter, specializing in lifestyle and interior design, of course. She couples her ambition with a sharp eye, and a creative spirit. So, it’s no surprise that every detail in her new home has been meticulously thought out. She has combined the precision of an artist’s eye, a knack for picking the right form and material, with an out-of-the-box attitude. The result is a home that oozes style and charm, a soothing haven of tranquillity to return to after an intense working day.
“In my work I get to see so many different interiors, some really full-on when it comes to colour and form, others understated and modest. So, it is especially important to me that my own home is a place where I can unwind and chill out. Our home is our sanctuary.”
